The workshop, titled Pitch it, Do it, focuses on a project-creation exercise in which each participant will first develop a blueprint and pitch for their own performance idea. Participants will then materialise one of the ideas shared by others, using movement, visual, sound, and scenographic elements.

The workshop concludes with an informal sharing of the works developed. The methodologies of Pitch it, Do it were conceived during Tiers 3 and 5 within the European project iCoDaCo – International Contemporary Dance Collective, in partnership with Instável – Centro Coreográfico.

About AURA

AURA (1997, Porto–London–Zurich) is a transdisciplinary artist and co-founder of Asterisco. Their work has been presented at Teatro Municipal do Porto, Galerias Municipais de Lisboa, Maia Contemporary Art Biennial, The Place, Nottingham Contemporary, Centre for Live Art Yorkshire, Stockholm Fringe Festival, schuur, Derida Dance Center, among others. They hold an MA in Performance Making from Goldsmiths, University of London, a postgraduate degree in Cultural Management and Sustainability from FLUC, and a BA in Fine Arts and Intermedia from ESAP and ASP Gdańsk.
