annual PARTNER meeting in RIGA, LATVIA
In March 2026, iCoDaCo partners gathered in Riga for the annual in-person meeting. It was a meaningful opportunity to reconnect, reflect the process of the project, and plan future activities. The three-day meeting took place at the Latvian Academy of Culture.
Throughout the sessions, partners reflected on the project’s progress and explored future directions through open discussions and exchange.
Partners reviewed past work, aligned on upcoming priorities, and ensured a clear, shared understanding of direction, responsibilities, and objectives across all project activities.
Discussions focused on strengthening the partnership, addressing local challenges, and thinking of ways that iCoDaCo’s knowledge, networks, and tools can remain sustainable beyond the project timeframe.
Among other topics, we explored current collaborations with artists involved in the project and tried to find ways to better integrate their needs and perspectives into future planning.
We also worked on upcoming Creation Processes and exchanged ideas for Mini-Festivals taking place in early 2027, including formats, programming strategies, and opportunities for collaboration across the network.
This partners meeting included the participation of Katja Sonnemann, who was brought in to facilitate the development of decision-making approaches within the consortium. Her work supported the creation of a framework for decision-making, that began to be implemented following this in-person meeting.
The meeting concluded with final reflections and a shared discussion on the next steps ahead of the project.
