Elene Gviniashvili

Elene Gviniashvili is a third-year Electrical and Computer Engineering student at the Free University of Tbilisi.

Dance has always been an important part of her life. Elene has been dancing Georgian folk dance for 14 years, and it has become both a passion and a way for her to express herself. She began her dance journey at the age of five, first discovering her passion for traditional Georgian dance through her school ensemble.

She later joined Eleoni, a group under the nationally renowned Georgian ensemble Erisioni, one of the country’s most respected cultural institutions, where she gained advanced training and performance experience. Over the years, she has performed both solo and duet roles in a variety of traditional dances, including Abkhazuri, Mtiuluri, Davluri, Adjaruli, Osuri, and Phartsa, showcasing versatility across different regional styles, further refining her skills and contributing to the preservation of Georgian dance traditions.
